We’ve become friends with our vet and when I helped her by dog sitting I noticed this is the brand she feeds her dogs! I bought this shelf stable version to try with my dog and couldn’t be happier. The look and smell is frankly acceptable for humans. The texture works well for my senior dog and I do add a little water to thin in out some. The size works well for what we need and the carton can go in the fridge if you are not serving in one session. The ingredients are all things you can clearly read without any fillers. Our dog has done really well on this and her coat seems to have improved.

Just Food For Dogs food is great. My dog is elderly and he is picky. He actually loves this food and he gets all the nutrients he needs. With that said they sent me the wrong product. So now I have 12 boxes of the same flavor and none of the one I ordered. The food is not cheap but it is worth the expense because it is of superior quality. I can not however, afford to spend on what I already have and then order more to get what I originally wanted. This is the second time this has happened.

I have a 15 year border collie that was suffering through vestibular disease and vertigo. He wouldn't eat anything for several days, even when using an appetite enticer, and this dog food was suggested to me. A bit pricey for sure but when I put it front of him he perked up, and for the next week it's the only food he would eat.

My dog ate it, but it gave her horrible diarrhea, pass out gas, bad breath, and loud tummy rumblings! I feel so bad that I tried her out on it. My dog has a very sensitive stomach (gets car sick easily), is pretty picky, and I have been searching for the best food for her. This is not it.Not only was is really bad for her, it is super expensive for the size. My dog is 22 lbs so she would need a whole box per day, the boxes are so tiny! This would work out to over $120 per month if I had kept going with it!I ordered 6 and only gave her 2 (even mixed in with her old food to try to get her used to it) before I gave up because I have never seen her have such horrible diarrhea. I was actually quite worried about her it was that bad. So, absolutely not giving her any more of this garbage!Honestly, if it had been good for her tummy and had helped her, I would have spent the money, but it was the exact opposite of that. I honestly believe it’s a scam.

I finally found my dream product in this human-grade dog food. I have the world's pickiest eater. On top of that, she has multiple food allergies. I have spent 8 years working with the Vet on homemade dog food. My dog tolerated the food, but wasn't overly crazy about it. Under no circumstances will my dog eat "dog food"--canned or kibble--she'll starve first. I ordered Lamb and Brown Rice--and my dog has gone crazy. She's in love with it and gobbles it down right away. I still need to monitor her allergies to see if I've finally found "the" one. The downside is it is expensive and I'm trying to figure out how to add the expense into my budget. But for those who don't have this worry, try it. It is an excellent product. Comes in several other flavors too.

I would normally rate this product a five star because my dog loves it, but unfortunately I have an entire box (Pack of 12 items) of these and they're all mushy like mashed potatoes.I'm not happy at all with this box as my dog has always been particular to the texture of her food (not sure why)... So basically I'm mostly done with this box, I had to mix it with other foods to get the correct consistency.Not at all happy with the quality control of this product at this time.I hope this review helps somebody out there (Aug-Sep 2024).
