It is the kind of styrofoam that is made of tiny beads fused together. The surface is smooth, but when cut it's crumbly. It came well-packed, undamaged and right on time. I am using it for the under-form of a sculpture. I am able to stick tape to it and when I gouge holes, to glue elements, it sticks well, but I allow ample time for drying. It's not too messy, although the small beads from cut areas are quite clingy. So I find that cutting an area, then doing a quick sweep is helpful to avoid getting little beads on other work in the studio. Good product.

If you are like me and looking for craft balls to make the super popular DIY Halloween tomato cage ghosts these worked perfect! I also found they were better priced than my local craft stores. I also ordered a few in another size that are larger for more dimension but these arrived quick, were sturdy and just as described.

They arrived on time, I used one of them to make a tomato cage ghost. I love that I can take it apart after Halloween and use them to make flower arrangements. Great size too.

I used these foam balls to make cheesecloth ghosts with modge podge, they were the perfect shape to form the ghosts. Once they were formed, I could pop the styrofoam balls out of the form and reuse! Love these!

I bought these to make decorations for my christmas tree. Clearly I cant tell sizes, should have bought in mm, not cm. Haven't laughed so much in a while 😂However, they will be very unique christmas bobbles, and they certainly wont be missed 😉 Wouldnt recommend trying to hang them on the tree mind you!Otherwise the product is excellent and I'll buy more of the correct size next time
