Cool concept but getting anything to securely lock in place is not working. The mounting arm is flexible and has torsion instability.

Works pretty good. I wouldn't trust it with anything heavy but for lighter items it works pretty good.

Quality is what was expected at this price point. Loose threads = wobbly posts. Vertical post leans to right = not vertical. Gap at top of vertical post = poor fitment. Finish is decent and looks nice. Although a bit fiddly to clamp the item, due to wobbly posts, it's functional. At this price point, precision machining and fine fit and finish wasn't/shouldn't be expected.

According to the product description, this sphere clamp would hold an 80mm sphere in the middle of the size range in the description. It does not. It is a bit flimsy and the contact points that tighten against the sphere are small. Would not recommend for a mid-size sphere.

Easy to use and it makes a good decoration or table display at a craft show

I used it to hold a stone sphere. It was a little to heavy and the threaded arms are not sturdy enough to screw down tight.
