The thread size is not correct. it is not 1/4"-20 thread. I have attached pictures showing a screw that is the correct thread compared to these they are not right....

I bought this to replace a 1/4" screw knob on my desk chair, but when it arrived, I could immediately tell it was too small. All I had to do was hold it next to the old knob and the difference was night and day (see attached images). Holding it against a measuring tape, it's only 3/16".I couldn't use it, so I returned it.
