Whether it is spring, summer, autumn or winter – the new S 6 Twin sweeper from Kärcher is suitable for year-round cleaning all around the home and garden. It is effective: Thanks to its powerful roller brush, its two side brushes and a sweeping width of 33.9" in total, it easily sweeps areas of up to 32,000 f² in an hour. It is ergonomic: The push handle can be set to two positions without having to stoop and can be optimally adapted to the height of the respective user. And it is clean: The waste lands directly in the 10 gallon waste container, which keeps you clean when emptying. Another highlight is the additional height adjustment of the side brush, which makes it possible to adapt the contact pressure to the waste – and therefore optimal sweeping results. The S 6 Twin can also be fully collapsed thanks to a footplate on the frame and stored in a space-saving manner. The sweeper is ready for use in no time thanks to its tool-free side brush attachment.

We have horses and a long circular driveway that just gets yucky. Sweeping is a major task, so when I found this device I had to try it. Upon first opening the box it was very simple to assemble. Took 5 minutes. But I noticed the brushes and sweepers are very flimsy. I immediately wondered why they didn't use stiffer bristles and worried how that would effect performance. It certainly does after the performance, because this sweeper can't really pick up anything heavy, like pieces of gravel or pebbles. It does wonderful with grass clippings, tree buds, probably will do great for leaves, and coarse dirt. It had a really hard time getting the fine dirt and sand that are on our driveway from a construction project. We'll still have to sweep those by hand. It also leaves a thin trail of dust everywhere it goes, so it cannot quite pick up everything. The main brush just skims the ground, so any time there is a divot or uneven surface it doesn't get down into it well. It does wonderfully on flat surfaces, though! Here are some pros and cons:Pros:Super easy to use. Pushes easily, dumps easily. Easy peasy.Gets a LOT on the first pass, but you'll probably want to do more than one pass. It's fabulous at pulling dirt out of edges and corners. Better than a regular broom. It's just easy! Easy to use, gets most everything up. We definitely will use this frequently even while it doesn't quite get everything. It's quick! It swept the center of my barn aisle in less than five minutes. So much less work than manually sweeping. It creates less dust than manually sweeping.Cons:It's bulky so of course maneuvering it on turns is tough. It also leaves a trail on turns because the small sweepers are on the front and the main sweeper is in the back. I started using it in straight lines to avoid having to come back and grab what it would leave on tight turnsIt can pick up a lot of dirt and dust, but doesn't get all the finest dirt no matter how many times you go over it. It's definitely better with coarser and lightweight stuff. It could pick up hay but you have to open it frequently because the hay gets caught in the bristles often. It needs to be dumped nearly every other pass. This will get annoying if you have to walk far to dump it. I ended up getting a wheelbarrow to dump it into and then it was super simple. If there are stones or heavy items that it can't pick up, it will push them along and leave a dirty trail. It also leaves a dirt trail when full. So checking underneath and emptying regularly became a necessity. I found that I could push it off the side of my driveway to release anything it was dragging along. Tipping it forward helped give me more time between needing to empty it. Sometimes the front brushes fall off when you tip it forward, though. It works best on perfectly flat surfaces. I could only sweep the middle of my barn because the 3/4th inch mats in the center made it so it could not get the sides.I got quite dusty while walking behind it for 45 minutes. That fine dust that I was trying to pick up settled all over me. I don't think it would be so bad if I were picking up less dusty material. The biggest con to me is that the bristles are not stiff enough to pick up gravel or get fine dust. My barn is super dusty and as you can see my driveway is as well. It did about 3/4ths of the job but just couldn't get quite everything to leave it perfectly clean. I will take my shop vac out after doing the barn, as I really want to get rid of the dust when I clean.Overall, I like this thing. I will definitely find it handly throughout the year and for quick sweeps of the barn, driveway, and patio. It won't deep clean for me, but it helps a LOT and it takes almost no physical effort. Worth the buy!

I have a large exposed aggregate driveway under Douglas firs in a damp climate, and cleaning the driveway has always been a never ending chore. Blowing is OK when it's dry but only seems to last for an hour or two as the stuff blown away finds it's way back; manually sweeping can take an hour or so and has to be repeated in multiple directions because of the exposed aggregate. I finally decided there had to be another way and came across this product. Absolutely amazing; I was actually laughing while I used it at how silly I had been not to get this earlier. On dry days it takes maybe 10 minutes to completely clean the driveway, and about half of that is emptying the bin into my yardwaste container. On wet days it takes about the same time but doesn't quite get everything, but still quite an impressive amount.Speaking of the bin, it's very easy to remove, empty, and reinstall, and I'd hesitate to suggest much larger of one because when it's a damp day and it's full of debris it's about as much as I want to pick up and carry to the yardwaste bin about 100 feet away.Another huge benefit of this is the design that allows it to stand upright while stored;it basically has no wasted space in storage and is easy to pick up and take out through a regular door when it's time to be used.

I had an interesting time trying to get a functioning unit to my office but once it got here all in one piece it worked great. A bunch of dirt/dust comes out of the side when making tight turns so it's best to push it around in the same pattern you would do with a riding mower.Pros:Picks up a lot of dirtKeeps the dust downEasy to assembleCons:A bit tricking getting things out out cornersThe snap ring on the front caster fell off randomly during use during 1st dayDoesn't pick up small pieces of foam (2" x 2" x 1/4") , wood (1/2" x 1/2" x 4"), or plastic (shrink wrap)Side note: Karcher customer service was awful. I initially bought a used unit for $80 under retail price that was listed as "Very Good" condition. Very good condition to me means a functioning piece of equipment with cosmetic damage or MAYBE a bolt missing. What showed up was a unit that was missing the caster, front brushes, handle for the hopper, and bolts for the handle. That isn't even a usable item. They basically sent me their garbage. Instead of immediately returning it I called Karcher to see if they would send me the missing parts. Once I told them it was listed as used they had no interest in helping me even though i basically had a hunk of plastic at that point. I hung up, called back, and told them it was new. They agreed to send me the missing parts but they told me most parts were back ordered from overseas with no ETA and the handle wasn't even in the system to generate a warranty part. I gave up and returned it. In the mean time the brand new version went on sale for the same price as a used one. WIN!

This sweeper works very well. It picks up most things if they are not too heavy, like it will not pick up medium size or larger nuts and bolts. This sweeper pushes easy and does what you should expect it to do. Way easier than a broom and dustpan. The wet front brushes are just a little stiffer than the normal brush.

I own a floor restoration company. Large client called with a flooded parking garage 20,000 sq2 in size, full of leaves and tiny bush branches, mulch, etc. This is after a hurrican milton. First before auto scrubbing with disinfectant we needed the debris removed. This Karcher S-6 floor sweeper did great. First time using it. It was a lot of dumping the container but worth every penny. Most of my equipment is Karcher. They have a service man that repairs on site. Good buy.

Es un producto que si funciona. Lo compramos con dudas respecto a si podría funcionar o no en la limpieza general de un coto y si funcionó

Reasonably light, and easy to push. We are downwind from a 'dusty town', and it's always a battle to clean up the pavement in front of the shop. This unit makes the job much easier...after giving up on washing and blowing the dirt away for years. It's a definite problem solver. The dust bin holds a lot of sand, which is always blowing around here.

I was a bt skeptical when we purchased this item but Karcher has always been a great product line for us here at the terminal so I decided to give it a try.Once assembled (a simple job) the unit was then subjected to the floors of a logistics warehouse, a front walkway and several paved laneways. The result were impressive. It picked up sheets of paper, leaves, small stones and even a set of car keys somebody had lost in the leaves.Chucks of wood or sticks longer than 8" were merely dragged along under the unit and prevented the brush from rotating properly so they should be picked up prior to the sweeping, but otherwise it gathered up a substantial pile of waste. I believe we will purchasing more of these in the future.Shaun BoothBison Transport
