This pilot bearing removal tool worked well during my clutch replacement. I used it on my small block chevy to remove the stock bronze type pilot bearing. It took about six pulls and out the bearing came.It seems to be a well made tool.

The picture is not what is shipped as the slide doesn't have the edges to keep your hand on it. Everything else is as pictured. The real problem comes in that the lip on each jaw is so small that it doesn't grab the edge of the bearing well. In trying to pull a pilot bearing on my truck the jaws keep slipping out even after cranking the handle down as hard as possible to push the jaws out. After numerous attempts and even soaking the bearing in penetrating oil overnight it still didn't work. I believe this would work well for a seal but not for anything of substance.

Good tool for the job. Used to remove bearings for grandkids go kart,1 5/8 OD. May not work for large bearings such as the gimbal on my boats outbrive but for the smaller sizes works a treat. Had two out in under ten minutes. Seems to be sturdy tool.

I bought this tool to use for pulling small inner diameter seals (down to 1/2 inch) for that use it works perfect. I have used the other type puller that has a single hook, it doesn't work near as well as this type (dual hooks). I highly recommend this product.

Received it quickly and after unpacking it I went out into the garage and proceeded to pull a needle bearing out of an atv rear differential. It worked perfectly and never slipped off like I expected. Feels heavy and well made but a little rough.

Great product. Have only used it once so far. Its not something I expect to use often but when you need it, you need it.

used it a whole five minutes. took longer getting under the car than it did to take out bearing. great for shade-tree type work.

According to the box, the KTI-70356 is made in the USA.This Pilot Bearing/Bushing Slide Hammer is the closest to the often-recommended J-23907 from Kent-Moore.I can confirm it works on most GM products with manual gear boxes from the 80s and 90s including Corvette, where the J-23907 is recommended in the Factory Service Manual.
