I use these microspikes when I exercise dogs on the snow and ice. In upstate NY, this lasts a few months so this product is permanently placed on some sturdy boots. These spikes are essential for me and I haven’t had a slip since I started using them. I sometimes have to go inside with them to change shoes, and they don’t tear up the rug. I don’t know what I would do without them. Easy to put on the boots and easy to take off in the spring.

Nano spikes are perfect for winter running. I paired these with some inexpensive rain covers over my Altra trail runners. Run 5k in them regularly and they don’t create any issues with my gait. At first, they will feel a little narrower than a normal mid-foot strike but didn’t bother me at all.These spikes and rain covers were way less than buying GoreTex runners for winter and provide better traction and water protection in the snow.

Anchorage Alaska decided to warm up and turned every driveway and parking lot into an ice skating rink. I wore these for the first time and felt safe and secure walking around. They fit perfectly over my “fashion†boots so I didn’t have to wear winter boots in the unseasonably warm 35-40 degrees weather.

I find they grip better than cleats with metal spikes. I wear a women’s size 8 winter boot and ordered a size M. It fits the boot well, but if you use them with running shoes a size S would be enough.

Provide excellent traction for level ground or slightly sloped ground winter running on snow and ice. If the terrain becomes a steep grade, the grip begins to give way a bit, but it’s a good compromise since longer spikes would either be too heavy or hurt your feet when running on hard surfaces like bare frozen sidewalks or roads.These are best on snow or ice but can work on bare sidewalks too for a short while.Great spike material. Shows little wear after a winter of running. Straps work great on my Hoka Speed Goats.

They adapted well to my trainers and the feet seemed balanced when I run. A bit noisy on the road when there was no ice though.
