After trying another brand, I asked if there were another type of pinking shears that were lightweight and fit a small hand. The Kia pinking shears are perfect! After oiling them with household oil, I used them on my current project. They may cost more, however the quality is there!!

I love Kai scissors; they cut quite well. These pinking shears do cut well but the handle is just as uncomfortable as my others, so they have no advantage there. Glad to have them but was hoping for a more comfortable handle. Maybe there is no such thing as a handle on pinking shears that doesn't hurt to use.

These Kai shears are so easy to cut with. They are ergonomically correct and do not hurt my hand. They are very sharp. They are light weight, but do a great job. I am slowly changing all my scissors to Kai for all my sewing needs.

While these are nice and they are sharp, I expected to be able to cut multiple layers of fabric. If you are going to use them for trimming out corner seams or to prevent fraying at hems, you really need to be able to cut through more than one layer of fabric. A little disappointed.

They are Kais what more can you say. Nicely weighted. Cuts like a knife through butter. Smooth cuts the full length of the blades. You can buy cheaper, but you will not buy better.

I love these pinkers - I did a test cut on polyester organza and it was a crisp clean cut. No chewing even on this tough synthetic. I think they are the best brand out there for pinking shears.
