No issues with quality. Wish they could be a 1/2†or so shorter.

Many Japanese-built Fenders and other makes from the '80s and '90s used this type of barrel jack. Some still do today. I recently had a very unique and somewhat rare MIJ 1984 Fender Boxer in for service. Unfortunately, the output jack was broken beyond repair. I used the original trim ring and this piece fit and worked perfectly, keeping the original appearance and saving me the time and expense of ordering an original from Japan. It is a three-contact, so just wire the extra contact point (ring) in series with the tip for added output contact.

I was having some issues with crackling sounds from my bass. I replace my original connector with this and it fixed the issue completely.

I bought five of these and the first three were defective. One had bent pins, the other two buzzed/hummed. I swapped out two by different manufacturers and they both worked fine of it's not my wiring. I suppose it's possible their pins are wired differently than standard barrel jacks but I tried a couple different combinations and couldn't get anywhere. Shame, they look nice and include the rubber and lock washers but if they don't work, they don't work.

The old input had problems keeping a cable secure. Cables were falling out and the jack was loose and couldn't hold things. I opened things up and saw that it was a sealed, flush-mount jack so that meant that I could not reach in and bend pins to strengthen the jack's grip on the cables or wireless transmitters.I bought this to replace the old jack. Installation was straightforward enough and now I can play my bass without fear of cables or transmitters falling out of the jack. This is a lot cheaper than having someone else do the fixing.

Worked for my Jackson King V style guitar build but wasn’t quite long enough to thread the nut on backside. I’ll probably end up glueing in place. It’s in the description if you look for it but I didn’t see it first time around and messed up wiring. Longest pin is the ground, shortest pin is hot. And the third pin is for wiring in an active battery which I did not use.

This worked well on a solid body Ibanez ART guitar as a perfect fit. Worth noting that I tested polarity using a guitar cord first on both jacks. In my case I kept the same ground lead of course, but had to trade which of the other 2 lugs I soldered the positive wire to for the original outcome. Glad I did a simple multimeter test first for my guitar.Otherwise it was a quick and simple swap with a small soldering gun. Great grip and solid connection for plugging in and playing in about 10 minutes total.

Big fan of these jacks, and always buy them when I need a jack. The reason I go with this brand over others is that they come with a big rubber washer instead of nothing/a metal one, which I find seems to lessen the impact of vibrations/cables rotating in the jack, which typically lead to internally unscrewed output jacks over time, and are a huge PITA that historically are the cause of most jack failures I've had. I also supplement that with a bit of plumber's tape on the inside of the nut just in case. Never had an issue with these jacks since I started using them, so no downsides to report.

Didn't do what I wanted as the body was connected to the ground pin. Apart from that a good jack socket if that's not important.

Install was easy and it felt okay to begin with. After a few weeks it started buzzing, and then it would constantly come loose and not maintain contact. Definitely will not be buying again. I only wish I fell within the return window...

Por mucho que lo ajuste, a conectar el cable, hace sonidos de ruido a mover minimamente el cable. He intentado con cables diferentes y sigue igual..

Does the job perfectly, and you can feel the quality - it has a recognizable weight to it.
