I have a half dozen brands of kaku obi. This one is by far the shortest. A man with a 38 inch waist can barely get a square knot in the ends. Not usable for anyone larger.

This belt is not what you're looking for, likely.It's the right idea, but it's just flimsy.This is not a quality outer obi for kenjutsu.It is, *just barely* an outer obi for Kenjutsu, and it will not hold an Iaito or Bokken in a Saya for long without getting very loose.Constantly having to pull it tight, and if you are doing Kata, that's the last thing you wanna be thinking about.

The product is supposed to be 4m long (13.12') and it actually is 12.12'. 1 foot or 300mm shorter than description.I am returning this product.
