I love that this comes with different saw blades. Totally reminds me of my scroll saw. Love the ease of use. I don’t need a coping saw very often so price was important to me. This is a great little tool to have in your chest but totally affordable. The quality is good. Bordering on great! Don’t hesitate to purchase. I was pleasantly surprised.

It is a little on the cheap side, but seems to work fine and it is very inexpensive, so what do you want? Not beautiful, but didn't buy it for the beauty. It should work fine and last, so that is what I paid for.

This seems to be a decent quality item, but I bought it because everything here suggested it was built in Japan, but the item I just received is marked “Made in Taiwan.” Taiwan is better than China, but I still wanted to buy this because of Japan’s high level of quality assurance. This should be clearly marked in the listing for this product.

ポリのまな板をカットするのに使いました。先端も根元も360度回ります。ある程度締めてあればそうそう回ることはないのですが、無理やり方向転換しようとコジッたまま挽くと微妙に回ります。 個人的には90度単位で向きが固定できる四角いネジが良かったなぁとおもいます。 まあ構造的にそんなに無理の効く工具ではないので刃を折らないようにするならしょうがないのかなという感じです。複雑な曲線を切り抜く場合は、カーブのところにこまめに 4mm 程度のドリル穴を開けておかないと方向転換出来なくて後戻りもやり辛くて白刃取りされた状態になって詰みますのでご注意ください。商品名は糸鋸ですが、ホントの糸鋸(360度どの方向にも進める棒みたいな刃)と違い直線しか切れません。 ドリル穴を繋ぐ折れ線しか切れないと認識した方がよいです。切れ味はそこそこ良かったです。

目的は100均木材や塩ビ材を加工するのに購入しました。持っていた100均糸鋸の金属部分が曲がってしまったため千円未満のものをコーナン、高儀、藤原産業、本製品と使い比べて一番手にしっくり来たので選択しました。100均の糸鋸と違って刃の種類が豊富で、材料の硬さによって使い分けできます。替え刃も売っているので使い捨てにならないのも良いです。この糸鋸だけで、エンクロージャー木材の切り出し、スピーカーとバスレフ取付穴の作成、バスレフ用の塩ビ管のカットと、スピーカー作成の加工がほとんどできました。糸刃の前後の形状が同じなので、引くと切れるタイプと押すと切れるタイプのどちらにも刃を反対に付け替えれば可能なのでポイント高いです。購入して不満を抱えている方は、お近くの試し切りができるホームセンターで1ランク上の2から3千円前後のものと使い比べて見てください。私は使い勝手は価格ほど差が無いと感じました。道具の価格を抑えたいDIY初心者にもお勧めします。
