This product has helped me bring my 32 year old horse back from the brink....He took a fall against the fence and was down for a while before we found him and helped him back up. After we got him up, he was a different guy altogether. He would not eat ANYTHING that he had previously loved. My tack room filled up with all MANNER of feed trying to get some weight back on him as he started withering away - it was really scary.I emailed Kalmbach with some questions and one of their equine nutrition specialists (Cat or Kat) CALLED me and spent a good amount of time discussing their research, nutrition, etc.This was the ONE thing he would eat! And it brought him back around beautifully. I had no qualms about the ingredients - these people have worked hard and diligently in their research to bring such an awesome product to us and our animals. My horse likes it and it does not make him a hot head..as his previous grain did.
