I haven't sharpened them yet but for the price they are soft and pigment is decent. They're not prismacolor premier but I'm impressed with the quality for the price. Much cheaper than the premiers. If after I sharpen them and they break I'll revise my review but as of now I'm very pleased with them. Edit the trays are very flimsy I had to put the pencils in a pencil case

These are great colored pencils for the price. The pigmentation is really good, and they are relatively smooth. However, they are not break resistant. I have had a handful of them break several times in a row. Still, if you want a decent set with good colors for coloring books, these are worth a try.

These are really good everyday colored pencils. I have prismacolor pencils but was traveling and just need an inexpensive set for a few weeks. The colors were vivid and blended nicely with a blending pencil (I bought separately). The pictures came out very nice. Definitely a good set for beginning artists or anyone just coloring for fun but wants a decent pencil. I left them with my niece who enjoys using them as well.

Better quality than the other sets I have tried. Even better than the 120 color one. This 72 color set gives a wide enough variety without extra shades that are too close to one another.I made a color sample reference sheet and these Kalour pencils match the outside of the pencil much closer than other sets I have tried.Goes on smooth without being either too wet or too dry. They sharpen easily and don’t break all the time either when using or sharpening.Definitely a brand I am going to stick to moving forward.

I was really surprised with the quality of these pencils. I find myself using these pencils over my prismacolor pencils, the colors are vibrant and they hold a point much longer than softer pencils that are literally triple the price of these. I ended up ordering their other sets and expanded my color options. Really for the price these do not disappoint!

Most vibrant colored pencils we’ve used! Great product, especially for the price. I will say that they do color a bit more like crayons (in pencil form). You are still able to shade with them, but you’re not going to make a hyper-realistic masterpiece with these. I think they are great for kids or people who are coloring for fun. We would purchase these again!

I already have a larger set of these pencils which my husband bought from Amazon for me and I love them and use them daily, even though I have other pencil sets which are more expensive. I am ucky enough to own the 500 set ,I have bought this set to take with me on a short break with a minature colouring book and didnt want to carry a large set around with me. Once I come back they will add to my original set and replace some of those pencils which are now becoming too small.The colours themselves are lovely and there is a good variety in the shades. They work well for shading, and they also work well on different paper, so for instance the amazon paper. They sharpen easily (just dont make them really pointy as the point tends to snap off even when colouring lightly), They are easy to hold and I find I can erase them when making errors.I would definately recommend you buy these to start your colouring journey or as a gift for someone, in fact buy a larger size you wont be disappointed.
