Quality replacement grill grate lifter for BGE. Original has finally failed/rusted out after 8-9 years in coastal environment. This unit appears sturdy and is not supposed to corrode as easily...we will see. But, for now, a solid/well made replacement.

This has worked well enough the couple times I've used it so far. You'll want gloves on if the grill's good and hot to use this, but it held onto the grate just fine (as long as you have decent grip strength). I do wish the grate-gripping tongues were maybe 1" longer to add some stability but you may achieve similar results by inserting it a bit closer to the center of the grate (I grabbed from the edge as I'm still a bit shy around hot things).But, to grab a preheated grate to add more charcoal, etc., this device works well.

In the past, we have relied on a Primo grate tool. When our old tool wore out, we went in search of a replacement. This is a fraction of the brand name price, but works just as well. The grill grate lifter is a much have for grilling and this one is perfect for the job.

I have a set of pan grippers I really like and I have been trying to find a second set. The new ones grip the pan OK but they are not as sturdy or comfortable as my previous. The grip circumference is too big for my hand. (I do not have small hands). The coating is OK but only if you’re gripping it very low I find my index finger does not often land on the coating.The metal on these is also thinner than my previous pair.

Las pinzas funcionan bien pero son delgadas y para parrillas pesadas de hierro o sartenes de hierro sólido, aparentan ser frágiles como si se fueran a doblar.
