Seems to be well made, not too stiff. It's very thick, so it's a little stiff, but no more than expected. The brass prongs are the same thickness as the other cord i have for my welder.I have a 200 amp stick/mig welder and this cord is strong enought to run it all at full power. Best not to push it to its limits for too long though. I would only run full power for a minute or two, because my generator is right at the maximum limit for this cord.7500 watt westinghouse generator with 9000w peak for reference.Yes welder 205ds pro mig for the welder.

Super easy to plug in, 50amp side was tight to pull apart. Great value, great quality, functions exactly how it should

I have a 220vac welder and a generator that can also put out 220vac. The problem of course is the generator has a 4 pin twist lock connector and my welder had the large three pin plug. This cord solves that problem. I can now just plug the welder into this cord and this cord plugs into my generator. I can now load everything onto my landscape trailer and fix some metal fence posts and my gate in place. The cable has a very good fit and finish and the ends are molded in place. I was actually looking at constructing one of these but this completed assembly is much better.Recommended.

I needed a cord so that I can run my welder from my generator. The 10' length allows me to be away from the noise of the generator. The 14-30 plug locks into the generator and my welder plugs directly into the 6-50 end of the cord. My welder is only going to pull around 20 amps max at 240 volts so this cord has more than enough capacity. No complaints. Recommended.
