Great bin, however I can verify that squirrels can and will chew holes through the corners of the lid, so watch out for that.

Even tho these are plastic they work very well. I bought two. I use them for cat food and dog food. It's easy to open just enough to let a small amount of food flow into the included cup. What I would suggest is to use fender washers when mounting it. This greatly increases the stability and holding power of the feeder. Fender washers should have been included with the mounting hardware.

The dispenser it self seems nice. BUT said it comes with instructions and fasteners but they were missing. Package looked like it was a previous return because box was taped shut.

Makes feeding time so much easier and keeps the feed up away from critters. Will be getting another one.

Seems expensive for what it is, not sure it’ll hold 40lbs of anything besides maybe corn feed.

This is really as cheap and simple looking as it is in the picture. Its made of very thin way plastic. The tolerances are not very tight so if you were to fill it with something that has smaller particles such as bird seed or a crumble feed, it will leak out the bottom and from the screw holes. This is at most a $35 product sold for $85. I'm willing to bet it can be manufactured for under $5. That's how cheap looking we are talking about. This is going back regardless of functionality just based on the quality and cost. I expected a much more robust dispenser for almost $100.

We use it for scratch grains. Works well for that purpose.
