The part is not OEM for sure, but it still looks good installed and the fit is good. There is a gap around the gauge assembly but it's not really noticeable since it's resesed.A lot of the 1-2 star reviews are about the lack of three metal clips up top. If you break them off you old one, you can hold one at a time with a deep socket, heat the "thread" with a pencil torch and gently press/screw them onto the new part. Be careful not to add too much heat and smoke the fuzzy stuff off or it will probably rattle. Put them down until they are just flush with the little supports out the sides of the protrusion. Let it cool for 30 seconds or so before gently pulling off the socket. The socket acts like a heat sync and helps your hands and the fuzzy survive the process.

This is an excellent replacement for a 96 f350But it does need some modifications to make it go on better. First of all it doesn’t come with any top clips so you need to reuse the ones from the old bezel which is fine cause they are metal and are still reusable. What I did to keep them from breaking again, instead of forcing the and twisting them on to the black studs which cuts into studs wearing them which is what caused factory ones to break. I took a sharp putty knife and split the old pins open then screwed them into the holes in the black studs and then squeezed them back together so they would slip into the 3 top holes in the dash. Worked perfectly. Better than factory. Hope this helpsPlus some reviews said they had a rough finish, they have a nice lightly textured finish and don’t show dust and fingerprints like the original.

We bought this for our 1995 F150. It was very easy to replace the old one with this new one. It didn’t take very long to replace it.

I bought this to put in a 93 Bronco. The bezel that was in the truck had basically cracked and disintegrated to the point where it was falling apart. You can score Bronco bezels off popular auction sites for a good price if you catch it right, so I bought this to tide me over while I waited.I knew going into it this didn’t have all the holes for the Bronco. Specifically it was missing the hole in the panel for the 4x4 switch and the rear defrost. I just unhooked defrost and used a plastic knife to cut a hole in the panel for the 4x4 switch. It’s a bit of a hack job but serves the purpose until I get a proper bezel. Now, some bad (non Bronco specific issues). The texture of this plastic is terrible. It’s rough to the touch, easily gets dust on it, and you can’t wipe it off. Secondly the fit isn’t great, and it does not have the clips where it should fit into the dash.So with these caveats it’s fine and better than not having a bezel on my dash until I can get a proper replacement.
