I wanted a way to use threaded 82mm camera filters I already had with my new FreeWell magnetic system. This did the trick. There are other options that cost more and come with the male magnetic holder, but if you already have a system all you need is the one ring that would allow you to convert your other filters to your magnetic system. It is working just fine attaching my K&F Black Mist Filter, The manufacturers listings would leave you to believe that only their products are compatible with their products, but how proprietary can an 82mm thread be?

Was initially concerned that the expensive filters would knock free, but the strength of the magnets relieves this worry - takes some effort!As this would be part of a walkabout setup I also employ a lens hood that shields the filters from sideways knocks.
