This is how the quilt looks in my bedroom. I decided to get the king sized for my adjustable queen bed because it does sit up quite tall & I wanted it to go down over the frame. I am not able to use a dust ruffle because of the adjustable frame. It the perfect length on the sides.This quilt has the most beautiful colors of blue & green. The walls are a very neutral sage green which pulls those colors out of the quilt. As described, if you put it in a low heat dryer for 10 minutes, it fluffs up & takes out all the wrinkles.

Looks just like the picture! Great looking quilt, on the heavy side - definitely warm enough for winter. It's a beast to wash because of the bulk, but it washed well for me. Feels like cotton material, too. Very pleased with this bed spread/quilt.

First, to all the people who bought this quilt who didn't realise it doesn't come w/the shams -- the ad says it doesn't come with the shams, of which I'm grateful, because I purchased a King size quilt for a Queen-sized bed, and I didn't want King-sized Shams.This quilt is beautiful! It is an actual patchwork quilt, and the stitching is excellently done. As I mentioned, I up-sized the quilt for my Queen bed, and purchased a King quilt. It has worked out nicely. The instructions say to put the quilt in the dryer for about 10 mins to fluff up the filling after the quilt is taken out of the package. That did the trick, and it fluffed up nicely. It's still a tiny bit stiff, but I'm guessing after a wash it will soften up. I unfortunately don't have a washing machine big enough to wash it, so will have to report back after I take it to a launder mat.The weight is inbetween light and heavy. It's not heavy, but it''s not light. Which I like -- I like to feel there is a blanket on me, but not be too overwhelming.I'll report back after I've had it awhile and let you know how it's holding up.

This bedspread is very comfortable and washes well. I like the weight of it. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because the colors were not as bright as I had hoped. It looks a little washed out compared to the picture but I still really like it.

See my review on the shams. Would not hesitate to buy as a gift. It's not lightweight nor real heavy. Held up wash after wash

So, what's important to know? I always HATED quilts!!! But, I was looking for a new comforter set and I saw the picture of it and I was immediately taken by it!!! I loved the colors, the green and brown, etc. I also loved the floral paisley design and the "old-fashioned" quilt look. Next, I needed to know, was it going to keep me warm? It had always seemed to me that quilts looked flimsy and never had the substance of a cozy warm comforter. But let me tell you this quilt keeps me and the Hubs plenty warm!! It is really made well!! I am extremely impressed! What's nice is that it is lightweight enough to keep you warm but not make you overly hot. I was prepared to put a blanket underneath if I had to. But I didn't need to. It is also not hard and scratchy at all. It is 100% cotton and it is very soft. I also purchased the two matching shams. Keep in mind though they do not come as a set. I got the standard-size shams. I could have easily gone up to King as we have a king-sized bed. Maybe I still will. The shams are just as beautiful as the quilt. I already had a king set of olive-colored sheets and a beige dust ruffle (the main color is a beige) and I put this whole ensemble together and I am one happy camper! But the absolute best of all was it was on sale! Normally $99.99 I got the quilt for $79.99. So totally worth it!!! The shams were sold separately, and they were $34.99 for the set, a little spendy but didn't even mind. Our house is an Old Craftsman and our bedroom furniture is all wood and I like that country feel in my home. This quilt and sham set was the perfect addition!!! Just what I was looking for. I promise you will not be sorry if you order this set!!!

J'ai acheté a la fin de janvier cette douillette. Elle vient d'arriver. Sur toutes les photos il y a des cache-oreillers. Je me suis fiée à ce que je voyais sur la photo, et non au fait qu'il était écrit qu'il n'y avait qu'un morceau à la livraison. Le prix assez élevé me faisant penser que tout était compris dans l'emballage. La douillette est très belle, MAIS il manque des cache-oreillers et je ne suis pas prête à débourser encore plus pour me les procurer alors que je les voyais sur toutes les photos. Déception. J'ai le sentiment de m'être fait arnaquer. C'est dommage parce qu'elle est très belle malgré l'oubli, on va le dire ainsi, d'inclure les cache-oreillers au paquet.
