I installed this for our streetlight, excellent fit and a very minimal timeless look - I ended up buying another larger 12" diameter one which was totally clear for a slight variation on the look in a different area. SO good though, I will using these for sure for as long as they exist. A few minor changes after living with it for a month: 1. I added a photocell plug inside the fixture to have automatic on/off with the dark - this was great because it also raised the 4" inch bulb to be in the center of the sphere, also used a bulb where the top half does not project upwards at night. 2. I went back and added a two inch white collar disc on the inside below the bulb, white evens it out, brightens it and because this whole thing acts like a lens, smooths out the internal reflections from the uneven filaments! At night it looks like a clean tack sharp point of light, dim but easy to see Brilliant product, literally!

This is a colorful globe that fits in with my garden . It is sturdy and can be used in different places in my yard.
