such a cute bonding craft! did mine at 39 weeks, just enough rolls and cured after 4 or so days. i also painted it and put a layer of resin on mine to really preserve. easy to use, works as described and comes with everything except water :)

Such a great experience and makes fun memories. My daughters did this mold and it was very easy to use. Great value for your money, though I did need an additional roll. Be sure the wear something you won't miss. It came off my skin easily but ruined a pair of underwear and sports bra.

Over all a fun project. Definitely have a stool with you or something to lean on. Being so heavily pregnant I got tired pretty quick! It also got pretty heavy towards the end. I don't recommend putting a huge amount of the Vaseline on..we put too much on and it started slipping off the more strips we put on. I also recommend pre cutting the strips of plaster before starting so you don't have to stand as long. Turned out great and would do it again if I had another baby!

Worked really well! I’d consider myself fairly average sized and average sized basketball shaped belly and one kit was just enough to cover with two layers. When I took it off it was a bit flimsy. I took it off after 10 mins (recommended time). It also had one roll of wrap that didn’t really want to stick or become flexible like maybe it had already gotten wet and dried at some point? Or maybe not enough plaster was on it. Overall great purchase! Love being able to have a keepsake of my baby belly.

As a sentimental person, I really wanted to like this product. I even tried it twice! But overall, very messy (which is fine if the product worked) and outcome was not as expected. The cast does not dry in the 5-10 minutes in order for you to remove from your body. I left it on for more than triple the time and even used a hair dryer to try to expedite the process. When removed from the body the cast collapsed. I blew up a balloon to put underneath for it to dry in the intended shape (see picture). After 24 hours the cast was still soft and crackly. If I touch it, there will be pieces everywhere. I’m not sure how they have such good ratings, it seems like because they have different items listed in the same posting, the reviews for other items also fall into the same rating so you don’t see only the reviews for the belly cast. Save your time and money.

I love the idea of this belly cast and molding the memory of holding your little one inside BUT boy oh boy I sure don’t recall it being this difficult, messy OR lack of strips the last one I did about 10 years ago! 😱 It’s definitely thin and flimsy in some spots because there is far from enough strips included sadly. I’m thankful I kept my bump sash from the baby shower because we adhered it to the belly molding right under the breast area where it is weak and thin. The lubricant was nice to keep the mold from sticking to my skin but it also seemed to start sliding/popping it off too soon, as the top dried while we were still working on the bottom belly portion. All in all, did I cry after this was done? YES. It just didn’t turn out as I had envisioned it to. Thankfully I used my 15% off discount and it wasn’t a full waste of money. Not super happy with it but still glad I did it.

Although this is advertised for women with pregnancy, it is equally important and valued artistic representation for pre-and postmastectomy to help deal with the mental health issues that one can go through facing these changes in life so that you can see the pre-and post changes that you’ve gone through and how to process them. Just enough to be able to do one cast Which takes about two hours if you’re doing it properly.
