This is a very nice cart, but there are better comparable choices for less money. Upon arrival, one of the foam covers on an arm had a small tear in it and the vendor was contacted. They took over a week to get back to me and then said they were sending a replacement foam piece, which was never received. I returned this unit and purchased a very similar unit on Amazon for less money and as a bonus, larger wheels and I have been very satisfied with it. The larger diameter wheels help with rolling on the sand and high grass and is an important consideration.Update - ironically, I just received a package of foam replacements from the vendor today, but too late to prevent a return of the cart. If a foam cover gets worn or torn on the middle supports, there is no way to easily replace them as the supports are riveted to the uprights preventing access.

Great little portage cart. Wheels are a little small for even semi rocky ground. But, then again, that's not what it was designed for.

This is a great kayak cart. It comes fully assembled other than the wheels. Slip the wheels on and a quick connect pressure pin and it's fully assembled! My only complaint is that the straps that keep the parts from opening too far, can easily flip around and get twisted, and untwisting them are difficult as snapping it into place can flip the other one and twist that one. so you have to get it lined up right to begin with and it works just fine. But just know if a twisted strap will bug your OCD be patient with fixing it. haha Seems super strong. I would trust both my kayaks with this cart. Comes with a couple straps to tie the kayak to the cart. This seems more robust, and overall better build quality than my 30-40 dollar cart. Not sure i'd say it's "twice the quality" but that isn't a linear comparison. The wheels are fatter, flatter, and smaller making them more ideal for sand or mud, which is a big factor when carrying your yak to the water. It's also got better rubber cushions, the foam ones on my other cart slide around a little more, and might get memory indentations where I don't see the rubber pads doing that. It also has two feet to keep from tipping over whereas my other cart has 1 and can kind of tip to one side and tripod if you have any significant weight trying to use the kickstand leg.Overall I would say this is a great product, fantastic build quality and materials. No issues, no complaints. I would highly recommend. Sits in the middle to higher end of the price range for these things, but it's quality is reflected. Ease of setup is just a little bonus.

Nice robust cart. No assembly other than the wheels, making the frame part easy to store. Wheels are quite buoyant, similar to pneumatic tires if that matters to you. Center bushings are removable so can be changed out so if at some point you want to put the wheels on a different shaft size.

I have a 10 inch bulkheads. Unfortunately, the wheels are also 10 inches in diameter. This means that after towing my kayak to the launching point I have to Leave my car unattended while I bring the trolley back to my car. it back to my car and leave the kayak unattended for a little while, or fit them under the bungees. to bring the trolley back to my car and leave my kayak unattended. This is very inconvenient. This wouldn’t be a problem if the wheels were just a little bit smaller. Not every kayak has 12 inch (or larger) bulkheads. On the plus side, the disassembles very easily and the main pieces can be easily stored in a bulkhead. Also, like the online description says, the wheels don’t get stuck in sand and the trolley rolls smoothly and is quite maneuverable on tall grass, pavement, concrete sidewalks, etc.In my opinion, the trolley would be just as good with smaller wheels. I’ve used other trolleys with the small rubber 8 inch wheels and they’re not nearly as good as this one. The rubber 8 inch wheels would fit into my 10 inch bulkhead but I’d lose out on the smooth rolling and maneuverability that this one has. With wheels, many more kayakers could enjoy the quality of this trolley!
