I do not own a kayak. Not because I don't want one. I had a chance to snag a big assed kayak not long ago. I expect that the main reason I passed on it was storage. I live in Fort Lauderdale. I have the ocean close by. I actually live on the edge of a lake. I see now it was a mistake to let that one pass by. So what I have now is a great big inflatable stand up paddle board. This thing is massive. It's 11 and a half feet long. It is pretty wide as well. It is so big I cannot keep it in the house. So it is being stored on an outdoor, screened in, covered deck. I have found a cover for it. And now I am so pleased and excited to have these BALAVA KAYAK STORAGE RACK HOOKS for getting my paddleboard off of the ground. They are certainly stout in their design and manufacturing. Wish they were all one piece but the assembly is really very easy. Mounting them on the wall is a bit more involved. And I just barely avoided a mistake that I expect many may make. These hooks cannot be installed at the same height across the wall. Your kayak or my paddleboard is elliptical or oval shaped. If you are going to support your entire vehicle you'll need your hooks at different levels as the curve takes shape. I do hope the foam rubber that coats the hooks will last in this South Florida heat.

This is just what we were looking for to save space in our garage! The kayak pictured is a 10ft kayak and you can see that it could easily hold bigger kayaks as well. It's all about how you space the hangers on your wall. Probably took about 10 minutes to get everything hung and in place. We definitely recommend this product!
