I like the material. It clings to the PVC easily and assures a good connection (as long as you don't over-tighten). Good value for the money.

we had a problem where the standard plastic tailpipe 1-1/2-Inch o-ring did not fit correctly. this one seemed bigger and fit correctly and sealed the leaky pipes.

I had a slow leak on the PVC slip joint under my utility sink, and was looking at cutting out and replacing the joint, which would have been miserable.The builder didn't use a slip washer, but I thought it was worth a try, and this blocked the leak really well.The problem was that I needed a 2" slip joint washer, and those are almost impossible to find - I was really glad to see that this kit included them. Unlike the smaller washers in this kit, the 2" washers aren't tapered, but they sure stopped the leak!

Only the 1.25" and the 1.5" have the bevelled edge that I was looking for, the 2" does not have the "bevel".I used one of the 1.5" and I had to stretch it onto the P trap union that was leaking because of some silly design that relied on hopes and dreams to form a proper seal. (ABS p-trap union joint).I believe these can be had in the local hardware store for less.
