Package showed up box was locked ! Went and got in touch with amazon and kemimoto but keep giving me the run around got sick of that and broke into box where all harware and keys where locked now im shopping for new latches so dont purchase this product unleess you want a big hassle!!!!!!!

We just received this and I installed it, which is super easy and did not try the latches. One does not open so we will have to email the company. Also, haven't been on the dusty roads so not sure how well it keeps dust out.

For the price, this bed box seem overpriced. The other issue is that the locking mechanism is not very good and does not close well; seems cheap.The design and structure is good, but if you are looking for securing valuables, I would suggest getting the .There are other versions that do not have locks and are made of the same material to keeps things dry and out of the weather. Those options are less expensive.Also, smaller boxes are much less expensive. I hate having half of the bed of the Can-Am taken up with this Box.I do like how the box has a pass through, and the compartments are not separate, so if you have large objects, they may fit in this box better.

I want to love this. It's a well molded box with brackets that bolt to the sides for mounting in an ATV. Those brackets have holes to put in tools etc, with long handles. The box itself have a Molle grid on each side that can be attached to the front via velcro straps. Why velcro? Why not have them bolt securely? They are bolted to the inner lids, and could easily be bolted to the front. The lids themselves are water resistant but not waterproof. I've had some leak in while sitting outside in the rain. Water also collects in the small depressions under the hinge side of the lid, annoyingly. Mine came with a small chunk taken out (picture 3). Not a big deal, since this is a "work" item and will get banged around. But annoying for something brand new. BY FAR the worst feature are the latches. They are cheap metal that feel very flimsy. One doesn't even fully close down, and MUST be locked to keep it shut. The other just barely closes. But a slight bump in the road will cause it to open. Again MUST be locked with the key to keep shut. I will have to look into getting more stout replacements that I can hopefully bolt to the box. For the price of over $500 I would not recommend this item based on the POOR latches alone. A pretty good box that falls well short with the skimpy, barely functional hardware. Honestly a shame.
