I love love LOVE kenchis shears, and find that they last me a wicked long time in-between sharpening, and are some of the most durable and lovely shears I've ever owned. 10/10 sharpness, comfort, and performance! A true time saver and does everything you could want a thinning shear to do..sculpts, blends, and can even remove a lot of bulk. Not heavy and very comfortable to use even for a long period of time. Absolutely worth the investment!

Love the way they cut, but they do dull kind of quickly and rust easily.I have had these for about a month and been using them as my main scissors in that time. I have already had to have them sharpened and cleaned because they were starting to dull and rust. My usual main scissors, Fresh shears, stay sharper much longer than these have so far, and I have never had a problem with Fresh shears rusting.

I was quite surprised at the quality. Very good quality and quite sharp. So be careful if you need to clean the blades. Oil is provided to keep them from rusting I guess and keep them sharp. I have 15 lb dogs. It might have been smart to get 7†scissors for smaller pets, but these still work well in trimmings overall and removing mats. Quite impressed. Worth my 2 dogs grooming at groomers in price. I can keep them in shape between trips to groomers

As a dog groomer for 26 years, I can tell a quality shear over a not so good pair, and at the price I paid for mine, I was very impressed by these shears performance. They cut well without bending the hair, they fit well to your hand, and they have a great edge on them. Would definitely recommend!

Don’t let the price tag scare you off - if you’re committed to grooming your pup, these scissors are WORTH THE MONEY!!I bought a starter pair of scissors, and when I’d try to cut Winnie and too much hair would go in, they’d slide to the side and not cut anything.These scissors are VERY sharp. You definitely want to be careful when using them, but they cut like butter. The first thing I did was trim up her beard and it looks so much better!!I’ll be buying the thinning pair soon - I love these scissors so much!

I purchased these scissors jan 20, it's feb 19 and they are already folding the hair vs cutting the hair. Completely unable to use now. Didn't drop them, hit a toenail, nothing. Just not cutting hair already. I groom 6ish dogs 4 days a week so for them to already to be unusable is highly disappointing. Won't be purchasing through here again.
