The product arrived well packed and in working order. It is the exact replacement for my original key fob that finally decided to call it quits. The product did not contain instructions except for directions to links where you have to find your instructions based on your make, model, year, etc. I did not find them useful.To save you time, search for the video "How To Program A 1999 - 2005 Honda Civic Remote Key Fob - DIY Honda Civic Fob Programming Pairing" from PYR Automotive. It will make your programming much easier and faster. I recommend watching the video several times to memorize the steps (because you have to do the programming rather quickly) and when you are ready, program your key fob as you go along with the video.The programming of the key fob was successful and all the buttons work. I have a 2002 Civic LX.Received the key fob and tried to program.After a few attempts with no response from the locks, i thought maybe it was from the car being non operable and the battery was disconnected for a few weeks.So after getting my vehicle running again, i tried a few more times.No luck. So returning the key fob. Maybe this one was just a bad one.I'll be looking for another one to try out.

One of the key fob for our 2006 Honda Pilot died and I bought a remote replacement from Amazon so that I at least have a backup should the remaining one dies. The instructions eren't that hard but I actually found some very clear cut directions on YouTube that made the programming so much easier and smoother. After watching the video a few times, I went out to my car and got the new remote programmed in less than a minute. Just like that. Thanks to the people who posted their experience for others to watch and the links provided by the seller.

It was easy to program and the first day it is working how it should. I just wish it had the battery door on the back but for the price it is worth it.

Didn’t come with instructions but there’s a bunch of videos on YouTube on how to program it. Worked for my 2007 Honda Pilot.
