Follow these steps on how to replace your Mercedes-Benz key fob battery with ease:

Grip the latch located at the end of the fob and gently pull to remove the emergency key. It should slide out smoothly on its own.
After the key is released, observe the end of the key fob where a visible slot becomes apparent.
Insert the emergency key into this slot, applying gentle pressure to open the battery compartment cover.
Once the cover is open, carefully remove the old battery from its compartment, noting its orientation for proper replacement.
Take the new battery and insert it into the compartment, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) sides align correctly with the markings inside.
Close the battery compartment cover by pressing it shut until you hear or feel it click securely into place and re-insert the emergency key to its original location.

These batteries are in use in my key fob for an older Mercedes (2008). Fob, with the new batteries works perfectly no matter what the temperature is.

I have a 2018 Mercedes GLE 350 4matic. The battery didnâ€™t work when I put them in my key. I am disappointed. Will be returning.
