Had it programmed and cut by a local auto lock smith.. it works awesome so far!! Paid a fraction of the cost i would have paid the dealership.Please do note that the trunk cannot be programmed instead the hatch window opens.

This product does work, however, there is a difference between programming the key to unlock/lock your car and programming it to work with your actual car. The 2011 Honda Odyssey (And many other cars) have a safety measure that will NOT start your car if the wrong key is used. Even if you have the key cut to match, it won't start if you do not have it properly programmed.These keys do work however you will need to take them to a locksmith or dealer, to get them to cut and program them to your vehicle. This is not something you can do without an OBDII tool.

All I wanted was the shell casing part of the fob to replace a worn out case. Did not need a new key to be cut and programmed.But the key is permanently attached. Can't be separated from the case. So need to return.
