This is an exact replacement for my 2007 Suburban with remote start. I was looking for just the shell of the remote and found this option for less than I paid for a previous shell. With the electronics included this is a great value. It came with a web link to instructions to program the vehicle to recognize the remote. Following the instructions made this simple to program.

Just needed the buttons and transferred those to the old case and now my fob works perfectly. For my year, I’d have to get it programmed if I wanted to use the whole fob so I just used the old one and only needed the buttons. So if that’s what you’re after, it’s a perfect fit for the oem case. If you’re going to buy one and program it though, I’d suggest checking around at locksmiths as they’ll do the programming and sell you a fob pretty cheap compared to the dealer.

Although I checked the cars this would work in, it didn’t work on mine. Might be my error or this one but difficult ease of programming. If it works for you, great value for the money
