Perfect fit, it also comes with the battery backing and if you want to get a new key cut it comes with the blanks. I broke the metal ring off of my factory fob and this is the perfect replacement. I used my back plate just because it has the ford logo on it but the one that comes with would be just fine too!

The original Lincoln fobs are cheap plastic that break easily if u drop them, which I do a lot. These may not be any better quality but they seem to be exactly the same as OEM. Just pop out the green computer board, emergency key, and CR2032 batts (two, with + sides of both touching) and reassemble in the new pieces. There’s no instructions, so if this stuff doesn’t come easily to you, take pics of the original key fob as you disassemble it. And don’t forget there are TWO sides of the fob that need to be popped off and reassembled. The first has the green board, nestled in the translucent rubber protector, and batteries. Use a knife to pop that side off. The second opens with the little latch, enclosed is your emergency key. Make sure not to throw that away! Once all is reassembled, press hard to snap together. EDIT: THESE TWO SRE CHEAP PLASTIC, I dropped it and it exploded. Keeping the 5 stars tho as it seems to be the exact item it’s replacing.

Spent an hour trying to get this together. It became obvious that a tab on the end was too big to fit in the groove. It was on the metal part which finally broke off and finally got it together holding one end closed while my son squeezed the other end. Should have read the one star reviews. 13 bucks, so not too upset. It works for now and I ordered an OEM, since I expect it to blow apart at some point, which is what I should have done to start with.

Had it for a few months it’s holding up my keys are always on my hip. the tabs that hold it together or close to breaking by the time. It actually snapped together so just word to the wise. As you switch the pieces from your factory remote into this, take it easy on how you press it together. make sure you order the correct one a four button or five button. Make sure you get a set of batteries you need two 2032. My original factory remote, the metal part that goes through the key ring came out breaking a lot of the original tabs that hold it in my remote wouldn’t stay shut and it kept falling off my hip. I am pretty rough on things it’s holding up so far.

99.9% as good as the factory fob shell. For the price these are absolutely perfect to replace the two broken ones that I have.

Upon trying to switch out the casing for my mustang key, I noticed it’s super boxy and feels cheap. The metal part that’s supposed to clip to the body of the key fob broke and I ended up using a different part to replace and reinstall the original key together. Soooo, good for parts but too bulky and “cheap†of a quality for my liking.

It fit perfectly. I am waiting for a new remote also. I will have all 3 of the remotes reprogrammed at the same time.Our car had to be reprogrammed after it had been stolen and returned. There was only 1 remote available when it was being reprogrammed.

I am pretty handy and was not even able to close the fob with no part placed inside .... the fob came in 2 pieces.Looks great but absolutely did not work ... it's now in the garage where it belongs
