I recently purchased the Atsgke Keyboard Stand Double X-Style, and overall, I'm pleased with its durability and sturdiness. The construction materials are robust, and the adjustable width and height make it versatile for various keyboards. However, my experience was tainted by the inaccurate instruction manual and diagrams provided. Many users, including myself, found them misleading. Despite this setback, once I deviated from the provided instructions and assembled it based on my own intuition, the stand fit together perfectly. The stand's double X-style design adds an extra layer of stability, surpassing single X-style alternatives. The ease of adjusting the height is a standout feature, allowing for a comfortable playing experience. Additionally, the stand's ability to fold effortlessly for space-saving storage is a practical bonus. In conclusion, the Atsgke Keyboard Stand is a worthwhile investment, offering durability, sturdiness, and convenient adjustability. Just be prepared to trust your instincts during assembly due to the somewhat misleading instructions.

I don't get why companies can't vet their instructions with like, a handful of common-sense people and ask 'do these make sense?' I'd have better luck chugging a bottle of Sobieski vodka and trying to put this together on my own than relying on the instructions. Luckily, most of the assembly is common sense and i had the stand together in 10 mins or so. Once assembled, it's pretty darn sturdy. Like others said, this is definitely a 'standing' piano stand as opposed to a 'sitting' one as there's no legroom underneath thanks to the x-bracing, and there are no good height settings for sitting.. unless you're Shaq. The stand is pretty sturdy and can handle me wailing on it for a night. All of the components of the frame are either metal or rubber and all of the pins stay locked in place (although i do gaffers-tape them in place every show to be safe). My board hasn't slipped off once and i'm not even using clamps or anything to hold it in place. And while the stand is a bit bulky when folded down, it's less than 4lbs in total weight... so it makes up for it's bulkiness in being lightweight. i just strapped it to my keyboard case and i'm good to go. And i switch between a Yamaha MOX7+ and a Korg M3, so rest assured... this stand can handle the heavier/wider boards.

My advice would be to ignore the assembly instructions. Just look at a photo of the assembled stand online and use your common sense to assemble it. The assembly instructions were wrong — not difficult to understand, just plain wrong. The stand seems sturdy, though the design makes it awkward to play the keyboard while seated because your legs can’t comfortably fit under the keyboard while playing.I just assembled the stand today so can’t speak to its durability over time.
