We have two cats and one likes a certain spot by the window on a cat tree and another one likes to lay on the bottom of this two decker cat lounge. That cats brother is pretty shy but sometimes he'll sit on the other level with her on the bottom. It gives one of our cats a pretty reliable place to lay and look out the window that's kind of hers. It makes it easier on the other cat because he likes to have his spot in the cat tree period one of our other cats always wants to go out and never sits around the window anyway . The shy cat sometimes will go up there with his sibling, but otherwise it's kind of not his bag anyway. We wanted to provide a space for the other cat that really likes the window to have basically for herself and that's how it's worked out so we're really happy with this purchase. It works quite well it's sturdy it looks comfortable and it can definitely hold two cats. It really didn't take much effort at all to put up and it stayed up for several weeks now without any adjustment. I'm not expecting it to fall down, it's just that it's only been up for about a month. If I needed a second one I would definitely buy another. I might buy one for upstairs so they have another place to look out that window, come to think of it, so I may just buy another one. I feel like it's a good buy and the quality is what I expected, it was easy to put up and I would recommend this to anybody wanting something similar. The hole going to the second level does kind of limit the lounge space on the upper layer, but it also provides a space for the cat who's on top to sort of peek down and play with the cat on the bottom and vice versa. We don't have it super high off the ground, it's above our sofa which is backed up to the window. So if they want to run and jump up there it's not unfeasible but we also don't hit our heads on it when we sit on the couch.

The third one I have bought. My cats love it, but the suction cups don’t last forever unfortunately. They get about two years before they don’t stick anymore.

Seems well made. When I first pulled it out of the box I immediately thought to myself why didn’t I invent such a ingenious idea?!? It’s a great product and was extremely easy to setup. Make sure window is in good condition and not cracked*** make sure the seals and trim are good as if it’s not this can actually cause your window to possibly break and possibility of harming your cat inadvertently.Use regular glass cleaner on the donor window. Immediately use some rubbing alcohol for even the most cleanest possibility. Make sure it’s got no gunk, dirt and especially no grease/oil.Pull product out of box.Place the suction cups in hot water in sink but make sure sink is clean and not greasy. Let soak for approximately 3 minutes.Immediately dry them with “clean†paper towels.Place the suction cups with the “K&H†branding upwards on the metal backing be careful to wiggle it on there and not cut yourself on the metal as one of mine was kinda sharp.Place the bottom tier on bottom of window glass seal so it’s even and level and press firmly all the air out of suction cups. Proceed to the second tier above that one and place suction cups on glass window to your desire placements you might have to adjust them until you eyeball it to perfection- now the last two suction cups preferably line up on bottom of the top panel of your window like my luckily did, depending on size of your window. I think this works best on the newer type double pane windows solid glass without the squares but it should still work as long as your window is big enough for this particular cat window perch. Oh make sure to tighten the two suction cups by twisting them to the right to desired tightness. Make sure not too tight that it breaks the window I don’t think it could happen but never know. Carry cat to it and let him/her know it’s a gift to them from you. Hopefully they like it. Mine loved it. I love how easy it is to fold and be able to close the blinds with ease at night.

I assumed the assembly and installation was going to be more difficult, but to my surprise it took longer to clean my window than it did to get it put up.The suction cups hold very sturdy and well- although, after a few months of sun wear, they have started to pop off once in a while. I just clean the window again and suction cups hold very it back up.My 3 cats love it. This allows them to see outside of my tiny apartment that has only one window, which also has a window A/C unit in the summer time.

I was skeptical at how well this would work for my needs. Prep to completion the assembly took less than 15 minutes. It looks flimsy. Don't be fooled, it's is made of high quality materials. The suction cups impress me that they are easily holding the weight of 2 fairly large cats comfortably. The sun shines pretty direct on thos window and it has yet to collapse.

Its a very well made product. The rod they use is more than enough to support the three cats we have, and the suction is very good. Soak the suction cups in 160 degrees first and than clean your window and you will have no trouble. Very well thought out. Highly recommend this product.

My very particular cat loves this. It was the perfect solution to a high window area. Ticked so many boxes for us. I even hung a couple of little toys from the corners of the top level so she can play if she chooses. When I took it out of the box I thought it was going to be way harder to assemble but it ended up taking about 5 minutes in total. I would recommend wiping your windows down with water after you clean them as the smell might be a bit strong. And my one and only con is that the whole thing creaks a bit when my kitty moves around, which she doesn’t actually seem to mind (yet). Great product :)

Both cats use this and the other one we have over a door. One cat is more adventurous and climbsright up while the other likes to stay low. When the sun comes in the door they both head on it for a nap.
