I recommend these for stereo amp wires. You can even use these to make a battery terminal and have extra leads for accessories

First, I thought I'd mention that another reviewer said that the allen-head screw to tighten it broke for him. I don't know why he had that problem, but, I figured it wouldn't hurt to buy some quality allen-head screws at local hardware store just in case. The size is M6-1.0 x 12 mm. It was only about a dollar to get a pair of black--oxide screws. Something else notable is that it has a feature not even mentioned in the specs. It has an optional screw on one side for attaching a ring terminal. To use it, you have to break off a tab on the plastic cover. In general it is probably better to avoid using this feature but it is available if you need it. But the key to this unit is the set-screws. They are oversized compared to most similar products. This makes for a more secure connection and no need for ring adapters for smaller sized wires. The cover is nice and actually screws on, not just snap on. Highly recommended.

Solid piece that worked for what I needed. It is a little bit of a pain to get onto the battery terminal, and it’s blocky shape limits the angle of install (my battery is in the trunk) but otherwise I am satisfied.

Well made terminal this is exactly what I wanted. Looks good my subs hit harder and my car starts better.
