I did not know that our check scanner required cleaning and minor maintenance until it stopped working! Who knew? Who reads the instruction manual cover to cover? I went to the manufacturer's website, read the instructions, and did a search as where I could get the pads. Turns out that Amazon stocks them. Delivered the next day, and followed the instructions and cleaned all of the rollers and optics. Low and behold, the machine is back in action, working as it is supposed to work. Great product at a very fair price.
