My daughter really likes these, and they've become her go-to winter riding pants. She rides outdoors with them and doesn't use a layer beneath them, but she's also pretty cold-hardy. Nice material that keeps her warm except on really windy days, and they are super sharp-looking too!Not really any cons to report here -- it's been a couple of weeks now and they are holding up great. Time will tell as to their durability, and I will update this review if there are any early signs of them falling apart with regular use.If you're looking for a pair of riding pants for indoor winter riding or winter riding on warmer days, these will serve you well. If you want them to work outdoors for more frigid days, then I'd either use these as a base layer or size up and put some long underwear underneath.Really nice pants that we'd buy again!

My daughter loves riding her pony each week, but the cold is creeping up fast. These pants are MUCH warmer for her to wear at the barn than regular breeches, leggings, or jeans. They are a nice thick material that is soft on the inside. They are great for keeping out the cold wind.My daughter currently wears 5/6 in pants so I purchased the size Small so that they can fit her longer. I’m sure the XS would have fit her better, as the smalls are loose-fitting through the legs. I love the wide, elastic waistband because they were snug enough to still fit around her waist even though they are a bit too big for her through the legs. She was able to ride without any problems of them falling down because the elastic band helped them stay up. She has plenty of growing room to wear these for a long period of time. These riding pants are a step up from other ones on the market because of the pockets and attention to detail to make them look more like official breeches. The full seat adds grip to keep my new rider in her saddle. i highly recommend these for cold-weather horseback riding!

I have a very petite girl (52 pounds) who is working her way into a 9/10. We got the 'medium' and it basically fits everywhere but the thighs are pronounced in their width. I sort of thought "yep, that's the horse rider look" but when I went back and looked at the advertisement photo, the pants show as skintight. Not so in real life. Therefore, if you're always looking for some extra room in the thigh area, these will be a winner.The khaki color comes off as Land's End khaki standard issue pants but softer than a twill and fleecy inside which is perfect for our winters. Heretofore, she always wore fleece leggings, so this allows some style and pockets. They washed and dried great--no problems at all.The length was appropriate for my shortie girl, but a longer leg child might find them too short. If you look at the advertisement photos, they only show the girl with ankle high boots. In one of the pics, you can see the bottom hem near the top of the ankle boot.

I got these for my daughter who recently started riding ponies and she really likes them. They fit her really well and look so regal on her! They are thick and super soft on the inside which will help keep her super warm during the colder months when she rides. Riding pants of this quality are usually very expensive and these are a great value! Nice color options, as well!

They are great pants and are good enough to use in a show. They fit well and they look good. they have held up so far so I'd say they're a good deal.

I wear a womens medium and got the XL in hope that they'd fit me as the measurements were pretty close. Alas, they're a little too small; I was able to stuff myself into them but I'll not try to ride in them. With that said, they're very well made and sturdy. Fabric is dense and will definitely be warm.I machine washed and dried and they came out perfectly. I think they may have shrunk a little given the polyester/elastane fabric content. Perhaps they'll stretch out a bit when worn. I tried them on before washing. A petite woman could definitely wear these. And of course - kids. Five stars.

I really like these fleece lined riding pants for my daughter. She really likes them as well. Living in the Chicago area you need many different types of layers for outdoor activities. These fleece lined horse riding pants are the perfect solution for those colder weather rides. I used the sizing chart to find the appropriate size and it did not lead me astray. It resulted in a very good fitting pair of pants for my young rider. She really likes them and thinks they will be very warm for future colder rides. The construction on them seems very sturdy and there is sufficient padding and reinforcement in the areas needed to ensure a long term durable set of riding pants. Overall I can't say enough good things about the quality of these pants for the bargain of a price that they come in. Highly recommended.

These fleece-lined equestrian breeches are fantastic for winter riding. The silicone knee patches provide great grip, and the fleece lining keeps my child warm during chilly rides.
