Used these to mount two Kidde 21005779 Pro 210 Fire Extinguishers. Mounts securely to the wall and the metal strap works nicely to totally secure the fire extinguisher. The supplied bracket with the Kidde Pro was close to hazardous. Very easy to bump the extinguisher off the bracket. This unit is secure but also extremely easy to remove and use.

This bracket is very inexpensive and is designed specifically for the 5# Kidde extinguishers.Four screws will hold this bracket firmly to the wall and the top of the Kidde extinguisher slides easily but firmly into the groves located at the top of the extinguisher. The slick strap then holds the heavy unit firmly and safely in place. This is a well made product that should outlast future changes and servicing of the PRO series fire extinguishers. The bracket features a quick release clip. Just hold the top of the extinguisher with one hand and flick the clip in the direction of the wall or mounting surface and your ready to use the extinguisher as needed. An added extra is the wall decal, which is self adhesive and is actually larger than the extinguisher itself. This obviously helps let others know the location of the fire extinguisher and would be useful in an emergency situation and may actually be required by many local government agencies.

I bought this separate from my fire extinguisher and it fits fine. I use this in my race car, I have it mounted to my floor pan. I have 5 days of track time on it so far and have had no issues with the mount, it's very solid. My only complaint is that the strap isn't adjustable, it can't be rotated or reversed. The clamp is really tight and any little flick releases the lock. Once it's locked though it's good to go.

Purchased a 5lb Kidde fire extinguisher at Wal Mart and needed a mount for our food truck. I figured how can you go wrong buying the same brand fire extinguisher and mount but go figure….they don’t work together. On the bright side Amazon made the refund process super easy

I use this mount on a 4.25 inch diameter fire extinguisher (Badger model 5MB-6H), a 5lb dry chemical. Before purchasing, I knew that this mount was not designed for this product. However, I purchased it anyway with the intention of making the modification. The mount is mounted in the trunk of my vehicle. I previously had two fire extinguishers get "activated" in my trunk, so it was definitely time to get a real mount, stop losing money on extinguishers, and stop having to clean up the mess.See "customer images" on this product for pictures of my modifications. I made the "neck" of the mount a bit wider with pliers and a drill along the inside of the neck. I then made the metal bracket hold this smaller extinguisher with use of rubber electrical tape (). It's a bit thicker than standard electrical tape. The mount now holds the extinguisher very securely in my trunk, yet it's very easy to release. No more breaking lose in my trunk now! :) Don't forget to check out the customer images if you need an idea for modifications. Also, leave a comment to contact me if you have any questions about my mount or the extinguisher itself. Good luck!

I got this unit to secure a fire extinguisher in my car. It's easy to set into place and secure the extinguisher once the mount bracket with strap is fixed. I decided to opt for a 5 pound extinguisher since the smaller 2 pound ones will do little to prevent a blaze if you're able to access it in the first place. I'd been in one car that caught ablaze and the Good Samaritan that tried to help couldn't do much with their smaller extinguisher. I think the car and myself would have suffered less if they'd had something like a 5 pound unit on hand, and that's why I decided to get one for myself. Granted, I really don't want to be in a situation where I would need to use the extinguisher in the first place, but it's good to know I have one and that it's secured in place while traveling.

Fits my 5 lb Kidde brand extinguisher. Did not fit any other similar sizes or brands because the neck is different on all of them. Seems adequate but overpriced for simple metal bracket

Just got this and installed it for a Kidde PRO 5-TCM/8 (which seems to be the same as a PRO 340).Easy to install, there are 5 holes. Screws are not provided. It looks strong and the metal latch looks secure yet easy to open in case of emergency.Note that my PRO 5 came with a mounting bracket, one that is L-shaped without the latch. I tried it and found it insecure -- I didn't want to risk the kids knocking the extinguisher by mistake. So personally I find the non-latch wall mount useless and recommend this instead, it's worth the small price.

I have two different 5lb Kidde fire extinguishers and this fits the narrower one. There's no mounting hardware, so you'll have to find your own 4 screws to secure it to the wall.
