This is a fun wig for kids or a small adult to play with, but it's much shorter than pictured. Looking at the pictures, this seems to be 4-5" shorter in length, unless the mannequin is super, super tiny. The "hair" is also very shiny, so if you were hoping to use this as a regular wig, and not a costume piece, I thnk the shininess would look unnatural.

I know that this wig is marked for a child, but I am an adult with a smaller 21 inch head and adult wigs are always too loose on me so I thought I'd give this a try. It fits perfectly and looks adorable! Since my proportions are different than a child, the wig is shorter on me than the mannequin shown in the listing photos but the wig is true to the 12 inch length that was stated.This wig has a cute wavy style, the hair feels really soft and looks like real hair because it's not shiny. It has a slight side part and needs to be worn that way in order to keep the hair length even on both sides. The hair line is a little bit harsh because there are no bangs. The wig is very thin and see through when holding it up to the light. You can't tell while wearing it unless you move the hair in any way you, then you can see the sewn wefts. The inside has an open weft cap without clips. It's very lightweight and comfortable.My hair is very thin and didn't grow back from the effects of chemo so I am always looking for new wigs to bring my confidence back. It's always hard though because none of them fit right, until I found this one. This may be intended to be used as a costume wig, but I am happy to know that there are options like this available for children suffering from hair loss. It's hard enough as an adult going through self esteem issues with hair loss, so I can't imagine what it's like for a child.You can't beat the price and it is still very cute so I give it 5 stars still.

This golden blonde child’s wig is so adorable! I have purchased my share of wigs, but this is the first time choosing a child size wig as a Halloween or dress up wig for the children in my family.The wig arrived brand new in a product box with a new wig cap. There were no odd smells, which is always nice. The size of the wig is definitely kid size and it looks just like the product photos. It does have a bit of a shine, but it is, afterall, a costume wig.The hair is soft and has a nice feel to it. It brushed through nicely. The golden blonde color is lovely for a child. Makes an excellent princess or fairy wig. Bangs may have made the hairline more natural looking but this classic style will do just fine. I rated it a 5 as far as costumes wigs go. It is super cute!

This child's wig is really pretty. The hair is thick and dark brown. It has a wave to it which gives it a natural look. It fits well and looks like real hair.

WAVELNM Purple Wigs for Kids Lavender Short Curly Wavy Wig for Child Girls Side Part Wigs. This is a nice costume wig for girls and women with a petite, or petite average circumference. For a change I did not need need to make any adjustments for a proper fit. This wig has a nice curl pattern which stays intact even after combing with a wide tooth comb. The hair fiber is soft, and not unnaturally shiny. The lavender color is very pretty. The hard front on this wig is easily covered with a hat for a more realistic look.
