My 5 year old has expressed an interest in learning to take care of a garden, and this seemed like a great kit to get her started. It really comes with everything you need! Gloves, tools, stakes, an apron to stay clean. I was surprised that the tools really are heavy duty metal tools. Definitely not a toy! Not that that was why I bought them, but I was still surprised (in a good way). Would recommend for any kids (5+ probably) looking for a good all around starter kit!

We gave this to our almost two year old for Christmas. The gardening tools are great quality-metal tools with wood handles. She loves to play in the dirt so it will be great for the summer.

I love this set for my daughter. The tools are the perfect size for her and they are a quality metal with wood handles. The water jug is actual metal and the little carry bag is perfect for all her gardening needs. I love that this is not just a play set but a something she will be able to use for years to come.

When the product arrived, it was all shrink-wrapped and when I took it out. I wanted nothing more than to put it back in its shrink wrap because it smelled like melting plastic and even after leaving it outside for a day to air out. It's still stunk to high heaven.
