This kids bow has been more fun than we expected. It’s still a little hard for the kiddo to pull back himself but honestly that might be a good thing or he’d probably do sneak attacks while we sleep. lol

Was a great Christmas gift since it's what pur son asked Santa for. Used tape to put the target up, easy enough for a 4 year old to pull back and use. Darts get speed and distance.

Grandkids loved it. A bit hard to pull back for 4 year old, but will build more strength. Came with 30 darts which was nice.

First one broke and they replaced it. Snaps together but does not come back apart. Kids have fun with it

These nerf-style bow toys are super fun! I have kids ranging from 3 to 15 yrs. and they all enjoyed it. The cocking mechanism/handle where you pull the "string" back was a *bit* difficult for the 3 yr old, but he was able to do it if he held the whole toy differently. Also, he had a tendency to push the handle instead of pulling the trigger to try to get the darts to shoot, which the began to make the handle have difficulty staying pulled out. The plastic is sturdy however, and the toy still works properly most of the time. I'm not sure they could do anything to prevent this problem, especially since it is not the intended use, and he is below the intended age limit. That being said, with just a little finesse, the handle sticks properly most of the time.Assembly was a breeze! The 7 yr old basically put it together himself, though he did need help pushing one of the bow ends in all the way.The rapid fire magazine is awesome and works very well once you get the hang of it.With very minimal practice, myself and the older children were able to shoot very accurately, and when using the target, the suction cups almost always stuck properly. Also, you get a LOT of darts, which my wife didn't love, but the rest of us enjoyed immensely!The power was strong, but not painful to get hit by the darts (I should note, I'm speaking on this aspect only from the perspective of an adult man, as I did not use the kids as target practice).We had so much fun that we bought a second one and marked it to keep the handle mechanism safe from the little guy. Both still work well, especially the one that wasn't misused, which still works as perfectly as the day it arrived.

Purchased this for my 8yr old son's birthday, he loves it! He was able to use his nerf gun bullets in it as well as the suction cup bullets that it came with.

Thanks to the Amazon Vine program, I got to snag this toy for free, and as always, I'm here to share my honest experience with it.Alright, let's get into it. At first glance, the toy is labeled as a "kid's bow and arrow set." However, it's actually more of a crossbow, just shaped like a bow and arrow. A tad confusing, but that's just nomenclature. My 6-year-old lad, like most kids with anything that shoots, has been having an absolute field day with this toy. The construction feels robust, and the drawstring has an impressive amount of tension. When that trigger is pulled, let me tell you, those nerf bullets take flight and cover a decent distance!But, here comes the "but." While the toy looks sleek, its design is, well, baffling. There's no intuitive way for a kid to hold and aim it properly. The top portion of the 'bow' obstructs the view, and without any sighting mechanism, it's pretty much a shot in the dark (pun intended). It's like buying a beautiful car that doesn't steer straight.Summing it up, I'm awarding this toy 2 stars. While the build quality is commendable, the practical design leaves a lot to be desired. My kiddo enjoys it, but I believe toys should be both fun and functional.
