My son loves Spider-Man. I usually use an umbrella for shade on our walks and my son wanted an umbrella too. This is the perfect size for a preschooler. Sometimes I even use it. It's very lightweight. The edges have rounded ends so it doesn't poke other people. The only thing is that it feels a little flimsy on the handle and the shape of it is a little awkward to hold. Other than that, it's a nice size, super lightweight, blocks the sun and rain, and is Spider-Man themed, which is what we wanted. The kids at school always comment in awe of having the Spider-Man umbrella!

Received as a Christmas gift for my 6 year old. He loves it, along with his twin sister and younger brother. But same construction as an adult umbrella, so be careful with kids playing with it.

Umbrellas are made of fabric, a water resistant it waterproof fabric. Not pure plastic, unless they are clear ones. This one - for toddlers - is SO fragile. It's not ok for littles. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
