I didn't read the dimensions when ordering and it was a little smaller than I was expecting. But it still was a cute little toy to go along with the book as a birthday gift.

I bought this for my grandson who is 22 months old. He is obsessed with The Very Hungry Caterpillar. He loves it! It’s just right for his little hands. He caries it everywhere and even calls it “Bobbyâ€.

The size of this one compared to the little one. This thing is huge! Extremely great quality, and absolutely beautiful. But unfortunately my son likes the little one and never touched the big one. Have to return I don't understand why he wouldn't want the bigger one it's amazing. If your child loves the hungry caterpillar you have to get them one of the Eric Carl caterpillars they are extremely well made, and they will love to carry it around and make it pretend to eat through stuff. I highly recommend as a gift with the book. I have to return because my child won't even hold it.
