Kiefer Swim was started by American Adolph Kiefer in 1947. By that time Adolph Kiefer had won the gold medal in the 100M Backstroke at the 1936 Olympics, broken 14 world swimming records, and taught thousands of Navy seamen how to swim during World War II.

I feel much safer with these than similar products. Provides extra head support when floating. You also don't feel like it's choking you to death while saving your life in the process. It's just a lot more comfortable to wear and use it.

Better rinse off every time or you will be buying another 6 months later. Does good job keeping head above water.

I never learned to breathe properly while swimming, but swimming is my favorite form of exercise. I tried a Nekdoodle last year & had to constantly interrupt my swim to push it back in place. This collar stays in place, so I can swim & swim to my heart's delight. Plus it has a series of foam inserts that can be removed to adjust the thickness of the collar--fantastic! If you want to support your head while swimming or exercising in a pool, this is the BEST, in my opinion!

Had used this same collar at therapist's facility, theirs are larger/looser around the neck. Apparently this has been downsized or foam rigidity has changed because it almost chokes an average size adult. Also, no instructions about how to adjust by removing inner foam pieces, altho still a very tight fit after removing 1/3 of the flotation foam. If pediatric is a Small, would consider this at best a Medium and there is no option for a Large(r) neck circumference for adults.

A beautifully simple way to float while decompressing the neck and spine! Good quality and should last for years!

It felt like it was choking me the entire time I was in the pool.And it’s really large & bulky.Not great if you want to use it for traditional lap swimming.
