I shoot video professionally and got tired of relying on batteries. Wished I'd bought this years ago. I've already used it on a couple of shoots with no problems. And tho' I have large capacity batteries this is worth the peace of mind just in case of battery failure. I don't want any stress or issues while working. If you've been in the same situation, go ahead and buy one of these.

This device changes the way you shoot images and video entirely. With no restrictions on power consumption, you can pretty much shoot for hours on end as long as you have access to electrical power. The con is also the same. You may need a small inverter or other type of battery supply if you want to shoot outdoors or in a remote location. This might be a great tool for astrophotography or long exposure enthusiasts.

There have been reviews of products similar to this one bricking some Nikon Z-system camera's, so buyer beware. This one worked just find on my D7000 and Z6.

Works great for tethered shooting - now I don't have to pull off my studio mounting plates and swap batteries. I added 2 meters of cable to extend the overall length to match my tether cable, then wrapped them in a cable cover so they worked as one cable, stay organized, and don't tangle separately. Great little product! A lot cheaper than the Nikon offering that I couldn't even figure out how to buy/what was needed.

This works perfectly with my D7100, which I used as my webcam and it works perfectly fine with my camera, and in the future, I will be purchasing Nikon Z6 which has the same battery as my D7100, so this product is perfect for my use!

Works great for photoshoots, whereby you do not have to keep changing the battery. However, only four stars because the camera grip on the side where the dummy battery is inserted intonthe battery slot, it gets a little warm after using it for a short time.
