Flex-Column economy chromatography columns are fitted with translucent polypropylene reservoir tops, and bed supports that are permanently mounted in the polypropylene column outlet. Short columns are typically used for ion exchange chromatography, sample desalting and semidisposable applications, while the long columns are ideally suited for gel filtration and adsorption chromatography.
