I saw this kitchen mat and thought it would be a wonderful replacement for my old one. The old one had been one of those bath mats that is super soft and squishy. This mat is that, but so much easier to clean up if I accidentally spill anything I am cleaning at the kitchen sink. As you can see from the pictures, it rolled out fairly flat after removing it from the shipping package. The other picture is the underside of the mat and you can see that it curls up at the sides and corners. As this mat is used on a flat surface, I'm sure it will flatten out over time. For now, I am careful when I step on the mat to make sure it doesn't move out from under my feet. I am hoping by the end of the week that the mat will be flat on my kitchen floor and very stable. I love the beveled edges which will keep me from tripping when I step near the mat. As for my knees, they appreciate the support the mat is giving so that I can stand a little longer at the sink to finish washing dishes. I may need to get another one for next to my stove to cushion my knees and feet when doing meal prep.

This rubber mat cushions my feet and feels very good to walk or stand on. You might even say it's fun to stand on with sock feet. I think it's going to relieve some feet and leg strain while cooking or cleaning in the kitchen. My only wish to improve it would be to make it longer to cover a bit more area, but that's not a deal breaker. It's attractive with it's floral print design and seems like it is made to last a long time. I like it.

Like the design and thickness. I just question if the printed top is going to be durable it's super soft.
