We live in Colorado so we need gloves that are high quality, waterproof, and fit well. These gloves did it! They are nice and thick and keep my 8-yr-olds hands warm and dry when skiing, playing outside in the snow, and shoveling.

Our temps have occasionally been dropping below zero and clearing sidewalks at church takes almost an hour. My warmest gloves were not keeping my fingers warm enough. My fingers only got cold once while wearing these mittens, but I balled my hands into fists, still inside the mittens, and warmed them up. I had ordered 1 size larger than I need, so I could have inserted a hand warmer and faired even better. The leather is flexible enough I wore these mittens while driving my SUV on a cold morning.I like these mittens.

My husband & son wear these for snow removal. They both say they're warmer than regular gloves.

These are tough leather work mittens that are sure to last a long time. They are not as warm as I expected though because the fingers are still in divided sections as if you were wearing gloves. They are definitely warmer than equivalent gloves and you get slightly more dexterity than you would if the fingers weren't divided but it's not like you can tie your shoes w/ them on or anything so I think most people would prefer if they were just ordinary mittens. For the price though, they get the job done in all but the coldest weather.

Got the "child" size which is really the "kid small" for my nearly 6 year old average sized girl. Also bought the Kid Medium from another retailer for my 8 year old boy. Photo attached for comparison for others. The small was way too small for the 5 year old, and the medium is too big.Mitts seem good quality (as with all Kincos), but couldn't test them in the snow.

My second pair, these are great for keeping the digits warm!

Good mittens. I use these mostly when using the snowblower. I used to use gloves and would grip the handles so tight that my hands would get cold. The mittens keep hands warm and dry.

We are on our 2nd pair-not because the 1st is worn out, but we’ve added a new 3 year old farmer. These look and wear just like Dad’s and Dedaddy’s big man gloves, and are lined and warm to keep Mom and Mam satisfied that no little farmer’s fingers get too cold. And these little farmers give them a workout!! Absolutely recommend!

These are my cold weather mitts. On days on the ski hill when my fingertips get cold in my expensive, Gore-Tex lined, brand name, leather ski gloves, these mitts come out, and warm up almost instantly. They keep my hands very warm while shoveling, or running the snowblower, and while walking the dog in temperatures the dog doesn't even want to be out in.The Leather is thick and strong, yet soft and comfortable.Treated with some leather waterproofing wax, they keep my hands dry, except for sweat!I would love a version with a knit cuff. I'd reserve those for skiing and the cuffless version for regular daily/work wear.I normally wear a large in most work gloves and a size large in these mitts fit me perfectly.

I did read it as two (pair) not two mitts when I ordered for x'mas presents

The inner stitching on these mitts was not properly finished and the inner stuffing was poking through as the thread was coming unraveled on the inside of the mitten. I sewed it together properly, but had I not, these would not have been functional mittens, which they should be for this price point. Our kiddo is 2.5 and they fit well but are definitely on the small side and will not fit for much longer.
