The Kindersense Playpen Safety Tent is designed to safely prevent a child from climbing out of his or her playpen, creating a safe and enclosed canopy, which can only be opened from the outside.
Our premium Pack N’ Play tent boasts the highest quality durable fabrics, reinforced seams, and YKK Auto- locking zippers to ensure function and longevity. The highly durable, see-through mesh fabric used in the tent, ensures breathability, and provides protection from mosquitoes and other insects. The tent itself is fastened by four sturdy straps, allowing the canopy to stay firmly in place. The tent could also be used to prevent cats and pets from entering the play pen. We designed it to maximize space, creating a snug perimeter around the inside of the play yard and making a safe little “home” for your child.

We designed this tent with one main goal in mind; to create the safest playpen tent available.
In designing this tent, we analyzed all safety aspects and concerns, and incorporated features to ensure that safety. We recognized that playpens are different from cribs, in that playpen mattresses sit much lower than crib mattresses do. We saw that other tents pose a safety hazard, as they have a lower fabric trim (which is the standard for crib tents) which in playpens, sits at the breathing level of a sleeping baby. This poses a clear breathing obstruction.
We therefore came up with a patent pending design to remove the fabric trim and make the walls of the tent fully mesh throughout. This ensures that our tent provides clear breathing space, specifically at the baby’s breathing level.
In addition, We fully sealed the bottom of the tents with mesh, ensuring a child can’t lift up the foldable playpen mattress and get out from underneath.

The netting is completely enclosed and goes directly into the pack and play with the bottom mat going on top of the netting. There’s a zipper to the front that opens to let kids in and out. I got this primarily to keep our newborn safe from our active toddler who likes to throw things. I put our baby in the bjorn that sits in the pack and play with the netting surrounding him to protect him from flying objects when I need to put him down. Works well! Nice structure to it. The whole thing folds down when you want to remove it and stores into a slim zipper bag. I haven’t attempted to put it away at all.

I think this is a wonderful idea, and I don’t think the cost was terrible. I’m sure for the right child this would be so helpful in keeping them safe in their pack n play. I thought it fit nicely in ours and I liked that it goes under the mattress and ties to the sides to avoid any safety concerns. However MY child was immediately so angry when we put him in there. There would have been ZERO sleep for us. I don’t think most kids would be super thrilled about being put in a tent in their bed to be honest. Overall I think it’s a good quality product, it would be great for a baby to keep bugs away when you’re outside. But this was not toddler approved for my toddler!

Keeps the littles from crawling out during nap and bed time! Exactly what we needed for our temporary situation. I was so surprised to find something like this at all but then for it to actually work, perfection. It’s easy to set up, we didn’t really even need to tie it down.

My middle child was a wild one. She would jump out of her crib at 9 months and walk around the house at 3 am, obviously, a very dangerous situation so I bought her one of these crib tents, the quality was okay and she ended up putting a hole in it, it was thinner. This one my 1 year old decided he wanted to follow his sister and jump out and walk around, I bought this item and it’s quality is so much better than the first one I bought (different brand). Deff worth the money and the sanity!!

Seriously dangerous. This is not safe. It is supposed to go under the playpen mat. but that would mean it needs to have slits to allow the mat to fasten down. There are no slits. Because of this the mat could be lifted by a toddler and they could die. Also, there are folds of mesh that have no place to be so this is also a hazard. The playpen mat does not even lay flat inside the tent area. This is a terrible design.
