Not tested, but from the looks it appears that this rope and shackle set are rated at the listed lbs and cost a lot less than most of the competitors.

Used it to be recovered from a rut the day after it arrived. Used the soft shackle and kinetic rope provided and pulled my right out! Only reason 4 stars is bc the zipper broke the first time I tried to zip it back up. But the rope and shackles work as advertised!

I purchased this rope for my township to throw in the truck in the case that some one might need pulled out of the snow. I never dreamed I would use it to get pulled out. I have a chevy 5500hd dump truck with snow plow on it. I was loaded with probably 3000lbs of sand got sucked off the road into the ditch and was stuck in the snow and mud up to the frame. I was pulled out by a 1/2 ton truck with very little effort once the rope was stretched out the dump truck started to move . couple yanks and on the road again

I ordered these for my brother so he could gift one and keep a set for himself.Very sturdy and well made.Love that it comes with a tote bag to keep things together.

I haven't had a chance to try this yet, but it appears to be well made. It comes with two loops with a monkey fist, to attach the rope to your tow hook without needing metal hooks. Everything looks high quality with good fit and finish, so I expect it will perform well too. Packs into a bag the size of a large shoebox or small gym bag (a cylinder maybe 16 inches long and 8 inches in diameter?).
