These are amazing. Absolutely waterproof and I wont be worrying about the connections going out like the other vampire connectors most stuff comes with. If you plan on doing any lighting pre hard surfacing like turf, concrete etc, use a connector that will work forever.

I saw these used in several YouTube tutorials on diy landscape lighting. I wasn't sure but that they might be overkill for my project, but I figured I could return them if so. When I saw the suposedly waterproof connectors included with the lighting set I bought, I was glad I had these on hand ready to go.The existing lighting that came with our house had all sorts of problems and when I unearthed the connectors I could see why this type is recommended and used by pros.Time will tell, but I'm much more confident about these not having problems. Nice that they included a bunch of wire nuts. Oh - and that they accommodate smaller and larger gauge wires.

I have tried almost every type of waterproof connector as I live in Florida and the soil/sand is always at the very least, moist. These have survived three hurricanes where the water completely saturated our yard. Yes, transmitters and lights went out, but these stayed solid. Don't waste your money on anything else, especially the ones that come attached to the lights.

Got these to use instead of the wireless connectors filled with waterproof dielectric goo. I like these better; I think they'll hold up buried in the ground better than the goo-filled wire nuts. I used copper crimps to hold the two wires together, inserted the end down in to the goo-filled tube, close the lid, and I was good to go.

Very economical water proof connector caps. You get a lot of caps. Cheaper and better than the ones at home improvement stores. There is a lot of gel inside these. I feel like they will be very resistant to water intrusion.

These were perfect for my underground sprinkler system, I installed 10+ years ago, and we had a few zones down, and some rodents chew some wiring. I rewired using these for my connections, work very well.

Great little device. works well, though a little bit messy to insert the cables into the petroleum gel.One star removed cause the bag comes with 25. you need 2 per splice so why would you package it as 25. should be 24 or 26.
